It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything personal on this blog. In general, I hate winter and despite a couple of fun snow adventures around here, we haven’t been doing all that many blog worthy things. This past weekend was a bright spot in the dreariness as of late. We had the awesome chance to spend a long weekend in North Carolina with some of our favorite friends. They were kind enough to let Grayben tag along for the couples’ ski trip and we all had a wonderful time. While everyone else skied, G and I explored the snow. He loved throwing snowballs (“more, more”), watching all of the kids in ski school and generally having a chance to play outside for really the first time in a few months. The weather was gorgeous–cold and clear. It’s amazing how much easier it is to handle the cold when you’re dressed for it! We took him sledding on our last day thinking he’d enjoy it much more than he did. I think the pictures show what a fun time the whole trip was for everyone!
